The Rules
General
- The Fantasy League takes place from the start of the Group Stage and will conclude at the end of the Round of 16.
- The Group Stage is separated into 3 rounds.
- The 2 managers with the most points after 3 rounds advance to the "knock-out" final, whose result will be determined by the matches of the Round of 16.
Draft
- The draft takes place and must be completed before the first match of the tournament.
- The draft lasts 12 rounds, in which Managers pick their choices in a predetermined order.
- Drafting continues until all managers have completed their squads. The result will be published in the main page.
- Managers with the lowest final points of the last edition get to pick first.
- New players get to pick before last edition's finalists.
- Last edition's Runner-up and Winner pick last.
- (new) Managers can pick any listed player as long as the latter won't occupy a position below his registered position, i.e. a FW can't play anywhere other than FW, but a GK can play as MF for example. (nota: it is advised to choose FW players first)
- Managers can also pick an available coach of his choice in order to gain a team bonus.
- Positions to be filled are: 1 coach, 1 GK, 4 DF, 3 MF and 3 FW.
- Managers can pick no more than 3 players from the same country.

Trades
- Managers are allowed to trade players between the rounds.
- Coaches cannot be traded.
- Managers may trade all of the players that were not used during the 1st round with other available players.
- Managers are also allowed to trade one more of their players with an available player.
- If a manager wishes to acquire a player from another manager's squad, he may announce it to the Gamemaster. The Gamemaster will inform that manager as soon as the player becomes available.
- Managers have a maximum of 3 trades.
- Managers take turn to replace all of the players whose teams did not advance to the Round of 16.
- Managers may also carry out 3 additional trades if they wish to.
- If a manager's coach's team does not advance to the Round of 16, his team will play without said coach and will lose points. (see Final -> Bonuses under Points)
Points Scoring
- Points are gained or deducted depending on players' positions and their performances.
- Goals scored (all positions): +3 points for FW, +2 for everyone else
- Assists (all pos.): +2 for MF, +1 for everyone else
- Clean sheets (GK, DF & MF): +2 pts for GK and DF, +1 pt for MF
- Penalties saved (GK): +3 pts
- Goals conceded (GK, DF): -2 for GK, -1 for DF
- Yellow cards (all pos.): -1 pt
- Red cards (straight reds, all pos.): -3 pts (n.b.: If a player receives 2 yellow cards in the same match (thus a red card), he'll only be credited with -2 points, and not -2 then -3)
- Captain's bonus: The captain (if designated) will have all of his sub-category points x1.5.
- Coach: Depending on his team's result, a coach can multiply the total points gained by his players (the sub-total):
- 25% for a Win
- 10% for a Draw
- -1 point for a Loss
- Perfect offense: +5 points if all FW have either scored or assisted.
- Perfect defense: +5 points if all DF and GK conceded 0 goals.
- Fair play: +5 points if none of the players have been disciplined. N.b. in order to achieve perfect offense/defense and/or fair play, all of the relevant position players need to have been used in a match.
- During the final, more criteria are used to determine the score. They are as follows:
- Time played: 1 point for 90 minutes (n.b. a player can score more than one point by playing in extra time)
- Goals for: +3 for a goal, -0.5 for an own goal
- Assist: +1
- Clean sheets: +1
- Goals against (GK, DF, MF): -1
- Sanctions: -1 for a Yellow, -3 for Straight Red, -4 for Yellow then Straight Red
- Shots on target (MF, FW): +0.3 each
- Shots off target (MF, FW): +0.1 each
- Pass accuracy (MF): 2 points for 100% accuracy
- Interceptions, clearances, recoveries (DF): +0.25 points for each
- Saves (GK): 0.75 points each
- Coach:
- W: +15% of sub-total
- L: -1
- coach not present: -2
- Perfect defense: +5
- Perfect offense: +5
- Fair play: +5
- 3+ goals (team manages to score more than 3 goals): +5
- Starters (all players played as starters): +5
Prize
